PACE Inc. Child Care Works, celebrates the Week of the Young Child by offering their 11th Annual Free Family Fun Day, Saturday, April 10, 2010. The Week of the Young Child is a time designated by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC focuses attention on the needs of young children, their families, and the childhood programs and services that meet those needs.
PACE Child Care Works will be sponsoring this Free Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School. Child Care Works is a non-profit program dedicated to the education and safety of young children. This community event is a collaboration between the communities of New Bedford, Dartmouth, Acushnet, and Fairhaven. It will be free and open to the public from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
This day will also include art & craft activities tables provided by early education professionals. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
